Hoffman Estates families to hit the pavement for annual Halloween Hustle

Palatine’s downtown is well known for its historic character, and it will provide a backdrop for those who participate in an event that will be held near Hoffman Estates this autumn.

This year will mark the 13th anniversary of the Halloween Hustle and Kids Dash, and it will offer fun for all ages. In keeping with the time of the year, it will have a Halloween theme, and once the runners have completed the course, there will still be lots to see and do.

The runners will gather at 345 North Eric Street before heading out, and this has also been designated as the finish line. A finisher’s medal, shirt, and goody bag will be awarded to each person who participates in the 5K race, while the kids will each receive a cotton T-shirt, goody bag, and race bib, as well as a pumpkin they can take home with them. Awards will also be presented to the top three female and male finishers in each of the age categories. A printer can use graphic design techniques to create customized items for an event like this.

Once the run is over, the participants can head to the afterparty, which will be held in the Taphouse Grill. Everyone is welcome, including those who require a wheelchair or other assistive device, but people are asked to leave their pets at home.

The 13th annual Halloween Hustle and Kids Dash will be taking place this year on October 27. The registration fee starts at $15.
