Summit seeks to educate office professionals

The 3rd annual Leadership Summit for Administrative Professionals is taking place next month in Houston.

A presentation of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), those attending this event can earn up to six IAAP recertification points.

The event will feature a full day of speeches, learning sessions, and panel discussions. Topics of discussion will include developing speaking skills, branding a business or entrepreneur, gaining self-confidence, and remaining professional in the workplace. Among those who will be speaking at the summit are Adriana Simsen of the IAAP and Susanne Gaddis, CEO of The Communications Doctor.

The day will start off with a light breakfast. Lunch will also be served during the afternoon and snacks will be available throughout the day. Attendees can attend a couple of Learning Pathway sessions. Each is 15-minutes long and topics will be LinkedIn, and Wellness and Mindfulness.

All attendees will be provided with printed course materials that they can take home with them. When organizers hold summits like this in Houston, they often contact local print shops to have them provide the necessary printed materials.
