The 7th annual Houston Margarita Festival is taking place next month. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Twi-Light Twelve Foundation Scholarship Fund.

This event is restricted to guests age 21 and over. There will be dozens of flavors of margaritas to sample, as well as a variety of food vendors on hand. Margarita’s cost $6 each and premium drinks and cocktails are $8 each.

There will be musical entertainment and several competitions. The main contest of the day will likely be the Best Margarita Competition. There will be two divisions in the contest; mixologist and restaurant. Mixologists will be competing for a $500 cash prize and a trophy, while restaurants will be competing for $1,000 prize that will go to their favorite charity, as well as a trophy.

There will be two contests open to the general public. The Salsa Dance contest hosted by Salsa Eddy will award cash prizes and trophies for the top three. The Limbo Competition will also hand out cash prizes.

To advertise events like this, Houston event organizers often hire a printing services company.

The Houston Margarita Festival will be held at Water Works Park on October 6 from 12:00 noon to 10:00 PM. General admission tickets are $15 in advance or $35 at the gate and include a commemorative cup and one drink. There are also VIP passes available for $57 and $110.
