Fort Lauderdale BBQ celebration set to return for its 6th year

September 9, 2018 by

Fort Lauderdale barbecue fans will soon be treated to an event that will feature some of the best of the local BBQ scene, and it is being offered free of charge.

This occasion, which is open to all ages, will be the sixth year for the Riverwalk Smoke on the Water BBQ Feast and Competition. Pitmasters form the local area will be showing off their grill skills, and a variety of barbecued treats will be on sale, starting at $5 each.

With music supplied by the School of Rock from both Coral Springs and West Broward, the event will have a fun and festive atmosphere. Cold beer will be on tap, and guests are welcome to bring along a lawn chair or blanket to sit on while they relax and take in the experience. Leashed pets are also welcome.

The organizers of the event have planned for it to be well attended, and an assortment of sponsorship opportunities have been made available for local businesses. The logo and other branding from any companies that do so can be included in the promotional products crafted for an occasion like this by a local printer.

The 2018 Riverwalk Smoke on the Water BBQ Feast & Competition will be taking place this year on October 20. The fun will be on offer in Esplanade Park.
