Fayetteville festivities to have a German theme and flavor

September 9, 2018 by

The oldest Oktoberfest celebration in Fayetteville will soon be back for 2018, and its organizers have planned for this year’s event to be even bigger than it has ever been before.

The whole community will be joining in the celebration, and a full schedule of activities will be on offer for all ages to enjoy. In the evening, an adults only party will be on the agenda, and only a limited number of tickets will be sold for this part of the festivities.

The plans for the afternoon include an assortment of family friendly activities, and these include a petting zoo, pony rides, Bavarian-themed contests and other games, and a rock climbing wall. Foodies can try out both German and American dishes that will be served up by the food trucks that will be on site, and everyone is welcome to dress in Oktoberfest garb.

The evening’s celebrations will be for the grown-ups, and there will be German music and dance, as well as food and imported bier. Banner printing services for this type of function can be sourced from an area printer.

The location for all of this fall fun will be 2844 Village Drive in Fayetteville, and it will be held on October 7. The gates will open at 3:00 pm, and all are welcome.
