Easton area preparing ethical harvest celebration

A celebration of the harvest season is on the way for the Easton area, and everyone can head out to join in the fun.

This will be the inaugural year for the Easton VegFest, and its organizers are hoping it will become an annual event. Everyone from local artists to food vendors, performers and craft breweries will be taking part, and there will be activities for all ages.

Guests at the festival can visit one of the food trucks that will be set up, and these will be serving an assortment of dishes made from ingredients that have been ethically sourced. A beer and wine room will be on offer where those who are age 21 and over can experience some of what their local area has to offer. Art displays, yoga, kids activities, animal encounters, and an opportunity to learn more about healthy eating and living in general are also all included in the plans for the day.

VIP wristbands are being sold for the celebration, and these come with an assortment of perks including special access and discounts. Items like these can be sourced from local stationery printers.

Anyone who is interested in being a part of this harvest celebration can find out more about it by visiting its Facebook listing. It will be held on October 13.
