Fall arrives in Meridian with special activities

Several attractions are taking place in Meridian during September to mark the arrival of the fall season.

The Farmstead Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival in Meridian hosts a variety of activities, featuring its signature corn maze, pumpkin patch with more than 40 varieties of pumpkins, hay rides, and pig races. Food is also available for purchase at The Grainery Grill, for cheeseburgers and hand-dipped corn dogs; The Smokehouse for turkey legs, pulled pork sandwiches, and chili; and other eateries featuring sweets including fudge, cotton candy, and mini donuts.

The Farmstead Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival runs from September 21 through November 3 and is open all day Friday and Saturday, as well as Monday through Thursday from the late afternoon into the evening.

Additional fall activities can be found at the Linder Farms Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze in Meridian. Linder Farms features a straw bale maze, a slide using straw bales, a straw bale pyramid, and a petting zoo. There are also pony rides and a pumpkin sling shot, as well as activities for kids that include a swing and a bouncy house. Linder Farms will be open from September 21 through October 31 and is open six days a week.
