Ex-Beatle announces U.S. tour dates

September 5, 2018 by

Rock icon Paul McCartney has already announced Canadian dates for his upcoming Freshen Up Tour, and just recently let fans know where and when he will be performing in the United States. Raleigh is on the list.

In fact, the 2019 tour will begin in Raleigh, at the PNC Arena. This is the first time the former Beatles songwriter has appeared in Raleigh since 2002. After the show at Raleigh, McCartney will next appear in Greenville, South Carolina, making it the first time he has visited that city. Next up is a performance in Lexington, Kentucky, at the Rupp Arena, where he will appear for the first time in 29 years.

After that, the 76-year-old swings north to Madison, Wisconsin and Moline, Illinois. Managers of venues that host concerts like this can work with a poster printing company to create ways to announce the events. They are also popular items that fans enjoy collecting.

McCartney is also releasing a new album, ‘Egypt Station’, soon and this week will appear on The Howard Stern Show and The Tonight Show, the latter of which stars Jimmy Fallon, to promote the LP.

The member of the Fab Four turned successful soloist will be in Raleigh on May 27. Tickets go on sale at 10:00 am local time this Friday, September 7. The tickets are for all five of the U.S. shows just announced. He appears with Stern tonight and Jimmy Fallon tomorrow.
