Schenectady’s business community get inspired

August 30, 2018 by

Schenectady’s New York BizLab has a history of offering a variety of presentations to the local business community, and this September will prove to be no exception.

The group has taken a brief hiatus for the month of August, but it noted that it will hit the ground running when it starts up again by offering an opportunity to sit in on a talk by Mike Saccocio. Mr. Saccocio is City Mission of Schenectady’s Executive Director, and he will be discussing the subject of social entrepreneurship.

Everyone is welcome to come to the event, and tickets are being sold for $10.00 each. This includes lunch, and there will also be time for networking. The planners noted that the goal is for the attendees to be able to eat, socialize and take in the presentation all in the space of one hour so that they can return to their normal working day.

Anyone driving to the event can access the free parking available behind BizLab. Metered parking is also available on State Street. A local printer can provide business cards for attendees to take along with them for the networking session.

This opportunity for the area’s business community to come together and be inspired will be held on September 20th. It will run from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm.
