Real men wear pink for cancer fundraiser

North Versailles will soon be offered an opportunity to bid a fond farewell to summer while raising funds to help fight breast cancer.

The menu for the “Real Men Wear Pink BBQ Picnic” will include a wide selection of barbecue favorites, and some “pink” cocktails will be crafted just for the occasion. The organizers have planned it to be a fun and casual celebration, and all are invited.

Dam Garcia, who is co-hosting the festivities, has volunteered the use of his patio, and will also be supplying the food and drinks. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $25.00, and they will also be sold at the door for $30.00. Proceeds from the function have been earmarked for donation to the “Real Men Wear Pink” breast cancer campaign, which has been organized by Chris Kail.

The barbecue is scheduled to run for three hours, and anyone who would like to meet new friends and enjoy an evening of fun will be welcome. Local print shops can help the organizers of a grassroots initiative such as this to choose a variety of printed items that can help to ensure it will be a big success.

Guests of the fundraiser will be meeting at 2435 Beechwood Boulevard in Pittsburgh at 5:00 pm on September 2nd. The festivities will continue until 8:00 pm.
