Napa fundraiser to help local family

A local family has planned a special fundraiser for Napa to help one of its members breathe a whole lot easier.

The Baker family has organized an evening event for late this summer. It will include a variety of activities, and these include music, food, drinks and fun.

The fundraiser is set to kick off at 5:00 pm, and there will be free parking available on site. Guests will be treated to tastings of both wine and beer, and these will be served with popular barbecue favorites such as hot dogs. Side dishes and desserts are also on the menu. Music for the occasion will be provided by Otis and the Smoke Stacks, and there will be a raffle, a door prize drawing and a silent auction. Tickets for the festivities are $40.00 each.

The planners of the function noted that the monies raised will be used to help meet the expenses of the family while one of its members prepares for, and recovers from, a double lung transplant due to having cystic fibrosis. An area printing services provider can be called upon to supply materials that can help to ensure an event like this is a huge success.

September 8th has been chosen as the date for this special occasion. It will be held at 1035 Third Avenue in Napa, and more information can be found on its online listing.
