The Music Alley Festival will be coming in early September. The event will be free and will have four “alleys” – music, kids, art and food.

Music Place Mansfield will present a Mansfield Voice competition on the LOT Stage. That will be followed by the Heart Tribute Band, Even it UP. The final band for the event will be Landsharks, a Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band. The Dance Stage will have the Swing band, Eddie Irving, a DJ F-X Entertainment, A Selena Tribute Artist Veronica y Avance, lion dancers – Rising Phoenix, and Polynesian Fire Dancers. The Cinderblock Stage will feature OG Garden and Vandolier.

Texas Commission on the Arts will bring Preying Mantis Mobile Kids Stage from Austin Bike Zoo to the Kids’ Alley. Apex Percussion and the School of Rock will also be performing here.

School of Rock and the Apex Percussion Studio will also provide kids’ activities – 3-D Chalk art, spray paint art, and an instrument-petting zoo.

Nine local artists will have displays of their work in Art Alley. Genres include oil, caricature, spray paint, photography, pottery and Texas Themed art.

Catnip and Miss Cookie will be meandering along the street. Little ones may want to have their pictures taken with these characters for later posting printing or framing.

Food Alley will have local food vendors and schools selling summer treats like kettle corn and popsicles to paninis and grilled items.

Music Alley Festival will be September 8th from 4 pm to 10 pm in Downtown Mansfield, 109 N. Main St.
