Conference brings top creatives together in Portland

August 16, 2018 by

The Portland Creative Conference, or Cre8con, is taking place next month in Portland. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Keeping the Arts.

The conference is expected to attract some of the leading creative professionals in the country. There will be keynote addresses, speeches, presentation, and displays of completed work. Among the speakers who will be appearing at the conference are Kiki Wolfkill of the Halo franchise, Ronnie Wright from Nike, and Paige McKenzie and Mercedes Rose who wrote a successful Young Adult book series that has been optioned for television.

Attendees will be treated to food, drink, and musical entertainment throughout the day. Lunch will also be served.

Since they have sold out quickly in the past, there will be two wrap party receptions to be held at Wieden and Kennedy and at the Wacom Experience Center from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. It will be a good opportunity for all attendees from Portland and elsewhere to exchange business cards with their peers.

Keeping the Arts is an organization that provides arts education for children between kindergarten and grade 12.

The Portland Creative Conference will be held at the Gerding Theater at the Armory on September 23 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Tickets are $149 each and team discounts are available. Visit the event website for the latest information.
