Local outdoor market planned for Loves Park area

A Loves Park area event is expected to draw visitors from all over to enjoy a day of browsing through a wide variety of handcrafted and vintage goods while they eat and take in a live performance.

The Urban Farmgirl’s Main Street Market, which will be held rain or shine, will include at least 150 vendors who will be coming in from all across the Midwest. Both large and small items will be on offer, and a trucking service has even been retained to help make sure anyone who makes a big purchase will be able to get their oversized item home safely.

As they browse through all of the goods being offered for sale, attendees at the market can enjoy a snack from one of the food vendors that will be on site. Live entertainment will keep the crowd entertained, and lots of parking will be available for anyone who needs it. Business cards and other items for the sellers who take part in this sort of activity can be provided by an area printer.

Tickets prices begin at $8 for adults and $5 for kids. They can be purchased ahead of time and at the gate. Midway Village Museum Members will be admitted free of charge provided they show their member ID upon arrival.

The Urban Farmgirl’s Main Street Market has been planned for September 8 at Midway Village Museum in Rockford. The gates are scheduled to open to the public at 9:00 am.
