Erlanger area theatre announces next two shows

The Footlighter Inc. has scheduled some exciting shows for the fall and early winter this year at the Stained Glass Theatre.

Located in Newport about 10 miles from Erlanger, theatregoers will be able to see a musical and drama at the venue, which is located at 302 York Street and the corner of 8th.

Well-known musical ‘Grease’ will be performed from September 20 to October 6. This musical is about Rydell High and the boys and girls that attend it. It is directed by Arlene Borock-Balcazo.

Performances will be at 8:00 pm and on and Sunday at 2:00 pm. Viewers can relive the romances, friendships, and adventures of high school kids in the 1950s. There are cliques, drama, singing, and dancing that provide great entertainment.

‘Peter and the Starcatcher’ will be performed from November 29 to December 15. Telling the tale of an orphan who becomes Peter Pan, it features more than 100 characters with only 12 actors playing all the parts.

The show is directed by Chad Brinkman and adapted to the stage by Rick Elice. Shows are nightly at 8:00 pm with afternoon performances at 2:00 pm. This story explores greed and despair and the bonds of friendship, love, and duty. It has pirates, adventure, fantasy, and suspense.

There is free parking lots located on 7th and 8th streets at the National Band & Tag Lot and Neighborhood Foundation.

Erlanger has print shops that design posters and perform poster printing for theaters and other entertainment providers.
