Inclusive football clinic on offer in Green Bay

Autistic children can often have issues with sensory processing and communication, and this will be taken into consideration during a special football clinic that will soon be on offer in Green Bay.

This opportunity, which has been organized by Centerpiece LLC Autism Services in co-operation with Bay Port’s Football Team, is open to children between the ages of 3 to 18, and who have been diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. Their siblings will also be welcome, invited to register along with their brother or sister.

A family does not need to receive services from Centerpiece LLC to qualify to take part in this activity. It has been planned to provide a supportive environment where accommodations will be made for the special learning styles and needs of a child or teen who is autistic. There is no fee being charged to participate in this opportunity.

Anyone who registers on or before August 26 to be included in the football clinic will receive a T-shirt that has been specially designed for the occasion. Items like this can be crafted for an event by a local printer’s graphic design department.

The clinic has been scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon on September 8. It will be taking place at 2710 Lineville Road in Green Bay, and more information can be found by visiting its online event listing.
