Almost time for ‘80s-themed Greeley celebration

August 9, 2018 by

A Greeley celebration will be bringing back the feel of the ‘80s while offering a chance to have a great time in support of an area organization that works to ensure everyone has a place to call home.

Guests at ‘The House That Beer Built’ benefit concert will be treated to some of their favorite tunes form the decade, which will be performed by Soul Solum. While they do, there will be lots of food, drinks, and other fun to enjoy, all while helping the cause.

The plans for the evening include a chance to savor some craft beers produced in the area, and there will also be a selection of wine on offer. A variety of local eateries will be getting in on the fun by preparing the small-bite dishes that will be served, and guests can dance the night away to the music from their “salad days”. Anyone who really wants to join in the spirit of the occasion can try their luck in the costume contest, and there will be lots of other fun on offer for the crowd as well.

A portion of the proceeds from the festivities will be donated to the 2018 House That Beer Built Habitat for Humanity Home. Banner printing and other print services for this sort of activity can be performed for this sort of occasion by a local printer.

This Throwback Friday celebration will be taking place on October 12. It will be taking place at Zoe’s Café and Events in Greeley.
