New Georgetown entrepreneurs invited to show off their businesses

August 9, 2018 by

Many great start-up ideas have been developed over a cup of coffee, and this is the basis behind an event that has been planned near Georgetown.

The free meeting will bring together area entrepreneurs from a wide variety of fields to collaborate, share best practices, and support one another. There will also be opportunities to find out what sorts of innovators can be found in the local community.

The format for the occasion will include six-minute presentations by entrepreneurs who will share details about themselves, their company, and what has inspired them. After they have introduced their business, the audience will have 20 minutes to discuss their views about the enterprise and offer advice they feel will be helpful.

Each of the presenters will have an opportunity for coaching by a member of 1 Million Cups Round Rock (1MCRR) before they give their address. Anyone who is interested is welcome to apply to showcase their company, and the organizers noted that they are especially interested in hearing from those who are just starting out. Poster printing can help to promote an event like this to the local business community.

This opportunity for local entrepreneurs to receive feedback and other support will be taking place on September 5. It will begin at 9:00 am at 2310 N Interstate 35 in Round Rock.
