Unique food truck event strikes in Reno

An event currently taking place in the Reno, Nevada is Feed the Camel at the McKinley Arts & Culture Center’s ‘Hump Day’. Located on Riverside Drive next to the Truckee River, the event is not actually about feeding camels, but local foodies with big appetites.

The trucks serve unique specialties and beer. Some of their specialties include the Ice Cream Nachos on a Lazy Sundae, Spicy Bite-Me-Balls and the Little City Roller. Set up to be the sort of event gourmets love and at which professional chefs can bounce ideas off one another, there is also a vegan option for those who follow a meat and dairy free diet.

The Yelp ratings for Feed the Camel have so far received an average of four-and-a-half out of five stars. With food trucks growing in the Reno area, reviews suggest that the crowd line is not congested and people can simply enjoy their dinner on the park lawn. There is plenty of free parking in the streets as well as in the lots.

The event is currently held every Wednesday from June 6 to August 29 at 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, so the next one will take place tomorrow, August 1. Events like this often require business card printing as part of their preparation as food vendors look to make a name for themselves.
