Weekend car show pulls over in Puyallup

July 23, 2018 by

For the 31st year in a row, the Goodguys car show and auction will be held in Puyallup, at the Washington State Fair Events Center. The car show will take place over three days giving guests plenty of time to explore.

The event will feature many different types of vehicles. There will be muscle cars, hot rods, classics, custom, and modified cars, all made in the year 1987 or before.

There will also be specific events on specific days. Friday night will host the “vintage drags” show (which does require an additional ticket to see), on Saturday night there will be a twilight cruise out in some of the cars, and Sunday will hold a special performance of all American-made or American powered vehicles.

There will be live performances throughout the weekend, featuring bands such as Megs McLean, the Blues Power Revue, and M80’s. Kids will have a specific area with arts, crafts, games, and more.

One area of note will be the vendor area. There will be a swap meet, but also vendors will be able to have their own booths throughout the events. As is common at events like these, vendors will likely be handing out promotional products.

Tickets are currently on sale for this event, and prices will increase slightly at the gate. The at-the-gate price for general admission is $20 for anyone above 13, kids ages 7-12 will be $6, and anyone 6 or under is free. The event is scheduled to take place this weekend July 27-29.
