All aboard for fall fun in North Conway

July 28, 2018 by

A North Conway area event will give the public an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of an autumn day while helping to raise money for local not-for-profit groups.

The riders on the Conway Scenic Railroad’s Autumn Express will pull out from the North Conway station at approximately 11:00 am, and a stop at Crawford Station is on the agenda. Guests can stretch their legs while they take in views of Saco Lake and Saco River before heading back to the station for 4:00 pm.

Both coach and first class tickets are available, and each ticket holder will receive both appetizers and desserts as well as a souvenir photo. They can choose to purchase a box lunch or bring their own, and lighter fare will be available at the snack bar as well. First class package ticket holders will be treated to a three-course lunch served in the dining car.

Both the Mt. Washington Valley Habitat for Humanity and the Kiwanis Club of Mt. Washington Valley will be the beneficiaries of the day. Flyer printing and other services for an occasion like this can be provided by an area printer.

The Autumn Express will be pulling out from the North Conway station at 11:00 am on October 14. The railway’s website includes further details for anyone who wants to find out more.
