Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated has plans to build a 300,000 square foot facility located at the old Showcase Cinema site. This distribution center will create about 430 new jobs when completed.

The sales and distribution center will be finished by summer 2019. It will cost about $30m to complete and is on a 32-acre lot in Erlanger.

Gov. Matt Bevin expressed gratitude Coca-Cola was expanding into their area, since it is a well-known, iconic brand. The company presently owns four companies in Kentucky. This region is positioned to attract companies like Coca-Cola due to its infrastructure, talent pool, and location.

The new distribution center will create jobs in sales, distribution, and the warehouse. In order to encourage economic and job growth, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Committee pre-approved tax incentives for the Erlanger premises for up to $3.5m in June, as part of the Kentucky Business Investment Programme.

Mayor Tom Hermes says that Erlanger is an attractive place to live, where companies are offered payroll tax incentives and the residents over the last four years have had property tax decreases. These type of policies gain the attention of national corporations seeking to build businesses, he said.

Erlanger has printing service that assist corporations and all kinds of other enterprises with the design of brochures and brochure printing.
