Miami prepares for a fruitful festival

Miami mango lovers have been invited to come to a festival that will celebrate this sweet fruit in all its forms.

Guests at the South Beach Mango Festival, which will be bringing a celebratory air to South Beach’s Lummus Park, can participate in a wide assortment of mango-themed fun. While they enjoy all the celebration has to offer, they will also be doing a good turn for kids in their community.

The public will be able to try over 40 varieties of mangoes and other tropical fruit, and many of these will be grown in the local area. There will also be cooking classes, a play area for the kids, live entertainment, as well as a mango-eating contest and many other activities. A mango mixology competition is on the agenda, and vendors will be offering books, art, jewelry, and other items that focus on this popular fruit.

Tickets to participate in the festivities are on offer starting at $20 each, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Local print shops can be counted upon to provide an event like this with banners, signage, award certificates, marketing materials, and any other printed items that can aid in making it a success.

This event, which will be putting mangoes center stage, has been organized for August 5 at 12 Street & Ocean Drive in Miami Beach. All are welcome to join in the fun.
