McKinney fundraiser set to return this fall

July 23, 2018 by

An annual event that supports the autistic community in McKinney is set to celebrate its 6th year, and residents and businesses alike have been invited to get in on the fun.

The Heart of Autism gala will soon be back for 2018, and the theme for this year will be ‘Arabian Nights’. The agenda includes a champagne hour with appetizers and a plated sit-down dinner, which will be followed by programming and then a chance to dance the night away.

A variety of activities will be on offer throughout the night, and these include a silent auction, henna hand artists, a live auction, games, a Kendra Scott jewelry pull, and performances by a belly dancer. Tickets for the occasion, which start at $125, must be purchased ahead of time, and guests can choose between cash bar and open bar wristband when they arrive.

The planners of the celebration noted that only 350 tickets will be sold for the festivities, and they tend to sell out early. Stationery printers can supply everything from table cards to banners, menus, and special VIP invitations for this sort of gala affair.

September 29 has been selected to be the date for this annual fundraiser, and it will be taking place at 1900 Gateway Boulevard in McKinney. More information is available through its online event listing.
