Mansfield cruise-in to return for 2018

July 23, 2018 by

A Mansfield event has been planned with the car buff in mind, and everyone is invited to join in the fun.

This year will mark the 23rd anniversary of the annual Heart of the City Cruise-In, and all area vehicle owners who want to show off their pride and joy can register to do so. The public can browse through the entries, and there will be lots more going on as well.

The live music for the occasion will be provided by Outdated View, which will be taking to the stage in the gazebo starting at 12:30 pm. They will play until 2:30 pm, and the emcee for the day will be WVNO radio personality Tommy Barnes. There will be door prize drawings throughout the day, and an even split style has also been planned.

More than 100 trophies will be awarded to those who participate in the cruise-in. Anyone who preregisters their car or other entry ahead of time will have a chance to win $100, and they also be presented with a dash plaque and T-shirt. A local printer’s graphic design specialists will be able to craft customized items such as these.

Mansfield’s Central Park will be the venue for this special event, and it will be taking place on August 25. Anyone who would like more information or wishes to register has been asked to visit the online listing that has been created for the occasion.
