The 40th Annual Festa Italiana will take place in Rockford in a few weeks, at the Boylan Catholic High School. The festival is located just a few minutes from Loves Park, attracting visitors from across the region.

Guests may find their way to the Rest Tent, where the first Craft Beer Tasting for this event will be in full swing. Sampling regional craft beers as well as local favorites takes place from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A souvenir glass will be given to the first 144 ticket purchasers.

Signage found throughout the festival will allow for ease of attendee traffic throughout the event. Often, banners are used to communicate parking areas as well as sections within the venue.

The annual event promotes Italian culture throughout the community and neighboring cities. Social events include many activities, frequently flyer printing is a component of the event planning for use in advising the general public of the upcoming festival.

Festa Italiana, presented by the Greater Rockford Italian American Association, is the largest fundraiser of the year. The festival is also the longest running of its type in the area. Local business leaders support the event with generous sponsorships and donations. The funds are used for scholarships for children in grades K-12.

With the event taking place on Saturday, August 4, tickets may be purchased through August 3 for $20.
