Families and friends to gather for three days of Comic Con

July 19, 2018 by

Wizard World’s Comic Con in Winston-Salem is set for banner printing and several other printing services.

It features several television actors and actresses such as Holly Marie Combs from Charmed, Charisma Carpenter from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and David Mazouz from Gotham.

There will also be a trailer park screening and discussion, a workshop on learning how to play Pokémon, and an introduction to sculpting. The purpose of the sculpting workshop is to teach clients how to create their own creatures and cities.

Wizard World’s Comic Con also provides a couple of opportunities for cosplay. There is a workshop called Cosplay 101 available for clients interested in the hobby. The discussion focuses on how to craft the costume and other accessories in a way that brings out individual appeal. For those who are passionate about cosplay, there will be a costume contest hosted by Mike Gregorek and Victor Dandrige.

Tickets, photo ops, and VIP packages are available for purchase through tixr.com. The detailed schedule can be accessed through wizardworld.com. Those who are interested in participating in the costume contest can register at the Shield Labs booth inside the exhibit until 5:00 pm on August 4. Contestants must be at least 13 years old.

The event starts on August 3 at 5:00 pm and ends on August 5 at 3:00 pm.
