The 15th annual August Concert and Wing Fest is taking place next month in nearby Suwanee.

A presentation of the city of Suwanee, the festival is set to feature chicken wings provided by a number of local restaurants, food trucks and caterers. Samples will be available for purchase. In addition, beer and wine will be available from vendors or nearby bars. There will also be a wing eating contest that will be open to all competitors; it will start at 7:30 PM.

Free shuttles will be available from various locations throughout the area, and there will be musical performances by three bands: Twotakes from Atlanta; New Mantra from Athens, Georgia; and headliners, the Gin Blossoms from Arizona..

The festival is an opportunity for local restaurants to showcase their food to the public and for the public to discover a new place to eat. To advertise events like this that will attract many visitors from nearby communities such as Duluth, organizers often invest in flyer and poster printing services.

The August Concert and Wing Fest will be held at Suwanee Town Center Park on August 11 beginning at 5:00 PM; the last band will take the stage at 8:15 PM approximately. Admission is free of charge. For more information about the event and the shuttle services, call 770-945-8996.
