Mixed-use development in Meridian to get new cinema complex

Another cinema will be joining the Village Cinema at the Village at Meridian, part of the next phase of development at the property.

The auditoriums in the existing Village Cinema complex will also be upgraded with electric reclining seats and the Dolby Atmos Sound system will be expanded. Work on the sound and seating upgrades have begun, as has development of the additional luxury cinema complex along with the other improvements at the property.

CEO of Cinema West, Dave Corkill, commented that the goal of the company is to provide the best experience for moviegoers in the area. Due to the rapid growth in the area, this means the cinema needs to provide more seating and better amenities for its viewers. Cinema West is the operator of the cinema at The Village.

More dining, retail, and lodging options will potentially be part of the next phase of development at The Village, a destination with cafés and restaurants, apparel and specialty retail, and office space.

General manager of The Village at Meridian, Hugh Crawford, said that the Village is looking to meet guests’ needs in a market that is growing quickly by first expanding its entertainment options.

Brochure printing companies can be hired help announce such new facilities with more details about the new services and amenities services offered.
