East Haven wine lovers set to celebrate

Whether grape or fruit based, if a wine is produced in Connecticut, there is a good chance it will be on offer during the 12th annual Shoreline Wine Festival, which will be taking place this summer near East Haven.

The occasion, which will be hosted by Bishop’s Orchards Farm Market and Winery, will combine locally sourced food and wines with music in a two-day festival. The event will offer something for everyone, and a variety of activities has been planned.

Guests at the festivities will be able to tour Bishop’s Orchards Winery to learn more about how it crafts its products, and there will also be a vendor area to explore. Live music will provide a background for the fun, and local wine experts will be on hand as well. Food, much of which will be sourced from the surrounding communities, will be on offer and can be purchase for an additional charge.

The festival will run for two days and each ticket entitles the holder for one day’s entry. Along with general admissions, both VIP and designated driver options are available. Banner printing services for an occasion like this can be provided by a print shop.

The Shoreline Wine Festival has been scheduled for August 11 and 12. It will be taking place at 1355 Boston Post Road in Guilford.
