Carlsbad festival will put local breweries front and center

Beer, cider and kombucha (fermented tea) are just a few of the offerings that will be a part of a special event on the horizon for Carlsbad.

The Carlsbad Brewfest will be back for its fifth year, and its organizers have included a lineup of more than 33 breweries with 66 beers, as well as kombucha and cider. While the opportunity to sample some of what the area’s craft brewing community has to offer may be the big draw for some, there will also be live music and other entertainment, as well as games and food vendors included in the plans for the day.

At least four mobile food vendors will be on hand to keep the crowd well fed, and DJ Rob will be playing tunes throughout the afternoon and evening. As the attendees enjoy the fun, they will know that all of the proceeds for the day will be utilized by the Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Club to fund its various projects and initiatives that serve the community. Logo design and other print services for an annual event such as this can be sourced from a local printer.

This opportunity to enjoy offerings from area breweries while doing a good turn for those in need will be held on September 8. It will be kicking off at 12:00 pm in Holiday Park.
