July 4, 2018 by

The 3rd annual Portland Hot Sauce Expo is taking place over two days next month.

The expo will feature over 40 vendors selling a variety of hot sauces and prepared food products. It will also have a plenty of craft beer and specialty cocktails to enjoy.

There will be several contests taking place over the two-day event, such as the VooDoo Doughnuts of Death Challenge, Spicy Pizza and the Fiery Pork BBQ challenge. There will also be a reaper eating contest which will go for a Guinness Book record.

It will also be the location of the National Cocktail Competition, where participants have 90 seconds to create a cocktail. The grand prize winner can win $5,000 and will go on to compete in the National competition in New York City.

Other activities during the expo will be wrestling matches, including tag team, Lucha and Battle Royal, and a Chihuahua beauty contest.

Portland flyer printing firms are often asked to provide items to spread the word about such events.

The Portland Hot Sauce Expo will be held on the OMSI Bridge Lot from August 4 to 5. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the gate. A craft brew package is $25 which includes three beer tokens and a bottle of hot sauce. VIP tickets are also available for $60 and include a gift bag. Visit the event website to learn more.
