Beverly seniors begin next journey in life

June 27, 2018 by

Graduation ceremonies were recently held at Hurd Stadium for the seniors from Beverly High School.

Co-Valedictorian, Charlotte Veator, spoke from the heart, telling her classmates that it is important at this time in their lives to do better than their best and always strive to achieve the highest. Fellow Co-Valedictorian Jocelyn Lee added encouragement that everyone should think more carefully about their beliefs, as there are no guarantees for the future.

Andrew Chen, salutatorian, painted a realistic picture about success. He used an analogy that it is not so much important as to what college one attends, but how much effort is put into one’s college years and the efforts made to succeed.

Drew Buoniconti, class president, spoke truthfully about her fears of moving to South Carolina to study, about being comfortable in Beverly, and how much she will miss the community.

Most of the students will be going their separate ways and attending colleges from one coast of the United States to the other. A majority of students will be going to colleges and universities in New England, but others will be attending other well-known institutions such as The Ohio State University, University of North Carolina, and Duke University. One student plans to study abroad in London.

Poster printing companies can be hired to create posters that can be displayed throughout the community so that people will know about such annual ceremonies.
