Loves Park event planned with new moms in mind

A celebration of motherhood and the first years of a child’s life will once again be coming to Loves Park, and it promises to be a day filled with learning, building friendships and other fun.

The organizers of the occasion have brought together a variety of professionals, vendors and others in the pregnancy and baby care industry, and there will be lots of opportunities for the guests to learn about everything from birthing choices to breastfeeding. Entry to the event is free, and anyone who is interested is encouraged to join in the festivities.

Along with the activates for the moms, there will be balloon animals and other entertainment for the younger guests. The planners are accepting applications from any local vendors, service providers or other businesses in the field of baby and child care that would like to be a part of the day. Those that do will have an opportunity for what they have to offer to be seen by a large group of potential customers. Promotional pens and other swag for an occasion like this can be provided by an area printer.

To mark the event’s fifth anniversary, the planners will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Haven Network. This group provide support for bereaved parents and other who are facing the loss of a child.

This celebration of area moms will be open to the public on August 18. It will be taking place in the Loves Park VFW which is located at 2018 Windsor Road.
