New restaurant opening in Fairfield Township

June 22, 2018 by

A new restaurant, the MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub will open soon in Fairfield Township. It will take over the former Max & Erma’s on Princeton Road, at Bridgewater Falls.

MacKenzie River features an extensive menu of over 70 items, including burgers, flatbreads, sandwiches, pizzas, and specialty cocktails. The MacKenzie River chain of eateries is owned by the Glacier Restaurant Group, which is based in Montana, and bought the chain of Max & Erma’s restaurants in 2016. Since then, it has replaced a number of Max & Erma’s with the MacKenzie concept. Glacier also owns the Latitude 48, Craggy Range Bar & Grill, and Ciao Mambo concepts.

The new restaurant is kicking things off with a VIP Donation Dinner, with proceeds from the event going to the largest animal shelter in Butler County, the Animal Friends Humane Society.

To date, there are 27 MacKenzie River restaurants across the country, located mostly in the Midwest and West. The Fairfield location is the first in the area of Butler County, though there are two others in Ohio, in Columbus and Beavercreek.

The VIP dinner is set for tomorrow, June 23, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Diners will need to make reservations by calling 513-737-7717, and asking for someone in management.

Events like this can provide an opportunity for a shelter to advance its work by having a poster printing company tasked with showing animals available for adoption.
