Pittsburgh preparing to host fee dental health blitz

June 21, 2018 by

The cost of visiting the dentist can put receiving this healthcare service out of reach for some community members, and a dental clinic has been organized for Pittsburgh that will offer these services to people in the local area who are in need.

This free event will run for two days and will provide care for those who cannot afford dental insurance. The work will be provided by dental health professionals along with the assistance of a variety of volunteers.

The organizers noted that they plan on providing dental services to hundreds of people during the event, and the treatments offered will range from having a diagnosis performed by a dentist, to extractions, minor restorative fillings, and also cleanings. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the importance of having a healthy mouth, and the public who come out will be connected to services in the community that can aid them in securing long-term oral healthcare.

This dental health blitz will be taking place in the PPG Paints Arena, and the hours will be released at a later date. Banner printing and other print services for an occasion like this can be provided by an area printer.

June 29 and 30 have been chosen as the dates for this year’s Mission of Mercy – Free Dental Clinic, and anyone who can make use of these supports is welcome. Additional information can be found on the Downtown Pittsburgh website.
