Alfresco pancake breakfast to be held near Morton Grove

June 16, 2018 by

Residents of Morton Grove will be able to watch the sun come up while they enjoy a hearty breakfast with their neighbors, friends, and family next month.

The meal will be served alfresco and will include freshly prepared pancakes topped with berries or syrup. A side of turkey sausage is also on the menu, and drinks will also be served. The occasion will be casual, and there will be lots of time to mingle and relax. Those who come out are welcome to stay afterwards and explore the trails that can be found at Emily Oaks, which is where the event will be held.

The breakfast will be held rain or shine, and while the plan is for it to take place outdoors, provided the weather is suitable. The organizers have recommended that anyone who is interested in being a part of the fun purchase their tickets ahead of time, and they can be picked up at Emily Oaks Nature Center. Banners and other decorations for an event like this can be designed and printed by a banner printing company.

This opportunity to enjoy a meal in the warmth of the early morning sunshine has been planned for July 8. The venue is located at 4650 Brummel Street, and more information can be found on the Skokie Parks website.
