Temecula begins the summer season with lighted event

The beginning of summer will be celebrated in the city of Temecula with the annual Night of The Luminaries event to be held next month at the Rose Haven Heritage Garden. The event is sponsored by the Temecula Valley Rose Society and the city of Temecula Community Services Department.

Lindsey Carrier, vocalist, will provide live music as attendees stroll leisurely through the fragrant rose gardens lighted by hundreds of luminaries. Luminaries will be able to be decorated by children and a face-painting artist will also be on hand to paint the faces of children.

Also available will be free refreshments, featuring Hokulia’s shaved ice. A complimentary yoga session will be offered by Kristi Cox of the Yoga Alliance and those who want to participate need to bring their own mat.

The public is invited to attend this free event. There will be shuttles from a location nearby where people can park.

The grounds and gardens are maintained throughout the year by the Temecula Valley Rose Society for people in the city to enjoy and treasure.

The annual Night of The Luminaries event will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 pm on Saturday, June 23. Poster printing companies can be hired to create posters that can be displayed throughout the city so that residents can become aware of such special events.
