The Frankfort County Market recently opened in the historic downtown area of the village.

Two new vendors have been added to those offering their goods to residents. Handcrafted chocolates will be provided by Barcacaochocolat of Oak Brook during the entire season of the market, while mini bundt cakes will be offered by Nothing Bundt Cakes of Orland Park during the summer season.

The market has three seasons. The spring market came to an end on Sunday, May 27, with a focus on flowers and plants.

Next on the agenda is the summer market, which gets started this Sunday, June 3, and continues through August 26 with hours of 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Community relations manager for Frankfort, Mary Canino, said that this market still has flowers with the addition of fresh produce and all the vendors who have signed up along with live entertainment and special events, such as chef demonstrations and making pizza with the kids.

The fall market runs from September 9 through October 14 with hours of 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

During the entire season, close to 50 vendors will be participating in the market.

Various printing services can be used to create flyers that can be distributed in the community so that people can have more information about vendors, events, and entertainment at markets like this.
