Vero Beach invited to enjoy a tasty good time

Burgers and a cold beer make for a well-loved combination, and a Vero Beach celebration will pay homage to this dynamic duo.

The city’s downtown will be the venue for Burgers and Brews- An American Heritage Celebration, and all are welcome to attend the free festivities. The eight-hour event has an agenda that is filled with a variety of activities, food, and music.

The festival will kick off at 1:00 pm, and there will be a slider tasting and competition to find Indian River County’s best burger. The public can try their hand at getting a local celeb wet in the dunk tank, and there will also be a pie eating contest, a performance by Ladies of Soul, and the local police’s K-8 unit will show off their skills. The evening will see two bands take to the stage, and will draw to a close at 9:00 pm.

Those who plan on coming out can bring along a blanket to sit on, as there will be no shortage of lawn seating. Food vendors will be on site to serve the crowd, and an interactive area of fun just for the kids will also be on offer. Custom drinkware and other promotional products for an occasion like this can be sourced from an area printer.

This salute to two well-loved American favorites has been planned for June 30 in downtown Vero Beach. It has been organized by United Against Poverty of Indian River County.
