Air show on the way to Jones Beach

The Bethpage Air Show is coming to Jones Beach for the fifteenth year, and promises an exciting weekend for everyone to enjoy.

The air show is the first major summer event on Long Island, and draws huge crowds; last year, 315,000 people turned out, no doubt including many from nearby Williston Park. Although that number is actually smaller than in previous years, organizers believe at least as many people will attend this time, particularly as good weather is predicted.

Included among the performers this year are the ever-popular U.S. Navy Blue Angels, as well as the Snowbirds, a stunt squadron from the Royal Canadian Air Force. The Golden Knights, a crack parachute team from the U.S. Army, will be there, and an F-22 Raptor will make a flyby. Also, the American Airpower Museum, located on Long Island, will fly several of its classic aircraft, and there will be performances by individual aviators.

The air show is scheduled for this weekend, May 26 and 27, Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm on both days. There is a $10 charge for parking, but the show itself is free to attend.

An event like this is a perfect occasion for organizers to work with a banner printing company to create colorful banners to use as decorations, highlighting the attractions and letting people know how they can spend their weekend.
