Gwinnett County holds small business week next month

May 22, 2018 by

Gwinnett Small Business Week will be celebrated in June, with activities planned to take place at several venues in Duluth and Lawrenceville.

There will be a special event taking place each day of Small Business Week. Those planning to attend can either pay separately for each event or purchase a five-event pass for $25.

The first event will be Money Matters Monday on June 18 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Gwinnett Chamber. There will be two separate sessions – one on managing credit and the other of maintaining cash flow. Tickets are $10 each.

On June 20, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 noon, How to Do Business with Gwinnett County will feature procurement staff from the County. Held at the UGA Gwinnett Campus, this is a free session and will include a light breakfast.

The week will finish off with the Small Business Networking Social at Arena Tavern on June 22 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Tickets are $5 and will include appetizers and two drink tickets.

No doubt most of the Duluth and area business leaders attending will be bringing along their business cards to exchange with their peers.

Gwinnett Small Business Week will be held from June 18 to 22. For more information about planned events, contact the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce at 770-232-3000.
