The Wilsonville Festival of the Arts is taking place next month for two days. It is a presentation of the Wilsonville Arts and Culture Council.

This event attracts thousands of visitors each year from all around the area. It celebrates visual arts, music, literature and every other type of art imaginable. There will be plenty of activities that are sure to please everyone in the family.

There will be an art market on hand with over 50 vendors who will be selling their handmade jewelry, pottery, paintings and sculptures. Community organizations will also be on hand to promote their programs and services. There will be trolley art tours of Wilsonville art installations, mask making with Toney Fuemmeler, and interactive art activities. Chalkboards will be set up in the Chalk It Up area and artist Pascale Steig will add her input to all of the drawings.

There will also be acrobats, live musical entertainment, and interactive dance. The Art of the Word area is set to feature over 20 regional authors.

No doubt this festival will attract art fans from all over, including from nearby Portland. To advertise, organizers may work with a local printing services firm to provide printed materials such as flyers.

The Wilsonville Festival of the Arts will be held at Town Center Park from June 2 to 3 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission is free. Visit the website to find out more.
