A Phoenix event will help to ensure that children in the state’s foster care system have the supplies they need to succeed in school, and the public has been asked to come and get involved in the project.

Those who come to the Get to Give Arizona Helping Hands packaging party will be able to enjoy a festive atmosphere while they work to sort and pack a variety of items students need for school. Everyone who plans on attending is asked to bring along an item to donate, such as a set of pencils, a backpack, tape or markers, and these will be added to the materials being prepped for distribution.

To thank the attendees for helping out, an after party has been planned, and the location for this will be disclosed at a later date. There will also be a raffle and lots of other fun to be had, and the admission price is $10 ahead of time and $15 at the door. Flyer printing can be used to create an assortment of materials that get the word out the public that an event like this will be taking place.

This event, which will see many hands making light work in support of foster kids, will be hosted by Arizona Helping Hands which is located at 7850 East Gelding Drive. It is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm on June 27.
