Both Studio City horse lovers and William Shatner fans will be heading for the William Shatner’s Hollywood Charity Horse Show early in June.

The Arena Show will be a free hour-long spectacle of freestyle competition of world-class riders and reining horses, AHEAD with Horses will be presenting a riding demonstration and Neal McCoy will be returning for a vocal performance.

Following the Arena Show, Paso Robles’ Four Lanterns Winery and Stonefire Grill will cater the dinner. This year, the dinner will be a Western-style buffet. A professional Los Angeles dance company, DIAVOLO, will perform. Sci-fi legend Shatner will be meeting and posing with VIP ticket holders in a group table photo. Many guests will surely be taking these photos to nearby print shops for poster printing.

An online silent auction will run through June 3. Items include George Foreman boxing gloves, signed posters, original paintings, and a Dodger’s Baseball Jersey signed by Steve Garvey. The auction also has an array of Star Trek memorabilia.

Even though the show will be free, donations will be welcome, all of which will go to charity. Shatner will be giving Twitter Shout Outs for $150 and one-hour Twitter Avatars, replacing his Twitter avatar for $500.

The Horse Show is scheduled for Saturday, June 2 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, 480 Riverside, Burbank starting at 5:30 pm. The dinner and the silent auction in the Equestrian Ballroom will start at 7:00 pm.
