A festival will bring a taste of the tropics to the Miami area, and mango lovers may wish to ensure they make plans to attend.

The Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden will be the location for an occasion that will be all about mangoes. It will include an assortment of events, and those who come out may even be able to take a mango tree home with them to plant and grow in their very own yard.

The festivities will include a display that includes over 200 cultivars and is the largest collection of its kind in the world. There will also be tastings and evaluations of this popular fruit, and Mangoville will offer a variety of activities planned just for the kids.

The Veranda Restaurant will be open for business, and in keeping with the theme of the occasion, guests can purchase a freshly made mango smoothie and enjoy tropical tunes. Banner printing and other promotional services for a special function like this can be sourced from a printer in the local community.

This event, which will put mangoes front and center, has been organized for Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15 at 10901 Old Cutler Road in Coral Gables. The Miami and Beaches website include more information about this and other events in the local area.
