Thousands of brat connoisseurs will be lining up to get the quarter-pound beauties during the upcoming annual four-day Brat Fest.

Over 30 bands and solo artists will be on four stages. Some of the music genres will include country, metal, hip hop, rock and roll, country rock, folk, bluegrass, blues, pop, and dance. Artists will include Aaron Lewis, Bobaflex, and Black Stone Cherry. All concerts will be free.

Mr. Ed’s Magical Midways and Carnival will have over 35 attractions, games and concession stands.

Friday will be the Take Your Brat to Work Day where people can stop on their way to work to pick up brats; Bike for Brats will have free brats for the first 100 bikers to go through the Take Your Brat To Work Day Brat Thru. Ultrazone Laser Tag, petting zoo, a sports zone, kids’ art bounce, and activity zones will all be up and running.

The Brat Fest Bun Run 5K and 10K, the Hot Dog Jog and the Bratteyball Tournament will be part of the next day’s activities. Sunday will have fireworks and Monday will close with a meet-and-greet with Gin Blossom.

The City of Madison will surely have photographers there to get some good shots for brochure printing for next year’s Visitors Guide.

The Brat Fest is slated for Memorial Day Weekend, May 25 through May 28, starting at 10:00 am at Alliant Energy Center’s Willow Island, 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way.
