Beer and chili festival comes to Temecula

April 27, 2018 by

The annual Pechanga Microbrew Fest & Chili Cookoff is coming in June, to the Pechanga Summit event center in Temecula.

This event will show off the up-and-coming scene of craft brewing in Southern California. There will be unlimited samples of small production and craft brews from the counties of Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and San Diego, among others, and selections from Northern California, the Midwest and the East Coast.

Also part of the festivities will be the chance to taste several varieties of homemade chili, created by the Pechanga Resort and Casino chefs. Pechanga chefs will compete for the best maker of chili at the resort.

There will be a large silent auction and live music. Among the prizes at the silent auction will be sports memorabilia, golf outings, and fine beer and wine gift baskets. Programs of Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley will receive the proceeds of the silent auction and go to such endeavors as home improvement on behalf of veterans, and homebuilding.

The event will be on Saturday, June 9 from 1:00 until 5:00 pm. VIP ticketholders will be able to enter the event at noon for those who want a more intimate setting for tasting the many varieties of beer and chili.

Banner printing companies can be hired to create banners that can be displayed in the area, so beer aficionados will learn about such events.
