Middletown will be taking a step back to the ‘50s during an event that will raise funds for local young people who can use some help in making their educational dreams come true.

Shake, Rattle and Roll will be an evening of music, food and dancing, and other fun. The band RISEN will provide the entertainment, and a photo booth will set up where guests can take their picture as a souvenir of the occasion. A raffle is also on the slate for the festivities.

A buffet-style meal will be on offer, and a cash bar service will be available for anyone who would like a drink. There is no dress code, but as the evening will have a 1950s theme, those who want to dress in a poodle skirt, leather jacket, or other period attire are more than welcome to do so. The planners of the function explained that they want the evening to be both causal and fun, and all are welcome. A professional printer’s graphic design experts will be able to create an assortment of themed decorations for this type of fundraising event.

The Wellington Elks Lodge will act as the venue for this throwback to the ‘50s, and tickets are being sold for $35 each. It has been planned for April 21, and it will run from 6:30 until 11:00 pm.
