Mansfield invited to learn secrets of crafting wet-felted flowers

March 19, 2018 by

Mansfield crafters who would like to learn a new skill will soon have a chance to add wet felting techniques to their list.

Alpaca Meadows has planned an afternoon workshop that will see those who participate create flowers using layers of felt. The organizers noted that these can be used as home décor, wardrobe accessories, table decorations, and in many other ways.

The registration fee for the class is $35, which includes the cost of the materials, and the students can make as many as the schedule allows for. It is intended for those who have little to no previous experience in wet felting, and those who participate can use what they learn to craft their own flowers at home. According to the event’s listing, a few tools and some fiber are the only items needed to do so. Flyer printing can be used to create mailers and other items that can promote an event like this to the households in the local area.

Alpaca Meadows, which is located at 1200 Rock Road in Mansfield, will be the venue for this workshop, and it is open to anyone who is interested. It is set to be held on April 7 and will begin at 1:00 pm. Anyone who would like to register or find out more has been asked to visit the organizer’s website.
